  • The role of DevOps Engineer involves designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps practices.
  • The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Responsibilities include managing Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform and Terragrunt, and enhancing existing IaC for scalability and performance.
  • The engineer will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code will be created using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Best practices for application building, packaging, and deployment across environments will be implemented.
  • Monitoring and logging solutions will be set up to proactively identify and address issues.
  • The engineer will work with the operations team to establish incident response procedures and streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures will be created and maintained.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role is required.
  • Strong experience in deploying and managing resources in AWS is essential.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Jenkins is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools is required.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog is needed.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one language, such as Python or Go, are required.
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS is essential.
  • A solid understanding of networking and security principles is necessary.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Candidates must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects across various teams.
