Description:

• We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic fintech team.
• In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring the robust operation of our financial applications.
• You will leverage your expertise in modern DevOps practices to build automated solutions, optimize performance, and uphold the highest standards of data security and compliance.
• Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• You will develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.
• The role involves building and deploying serverless applications and microservices leveraging AWS Lambda.
• You will containerize applications using Docker for efficient deployment and resource management.
• Managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity is also part of your responsibilities.
• You will implement and maintain data visualization dashboards using Apache Superset.
• Ensuring all systems and processes adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and other relevant financial regulations is crucial.
• You will collaborate closely with development, product, and security teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing proactive measures to prevent downtime will be part of your daily tasks.
• Participation in on-call rotations as needed to support critical systems is expected.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• You must have 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a DevOps or SRE role, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Expert-level proficiency with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation is essential.
• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda for serverless application development and deployment is necessary.
• A solid understanding and practical experience with Docker for containerization is required.
• Extensive experience managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases is essential.
• Familiarity with Apache Superset for data visualization and reporting is required.
• You must have a demonstrated understanding and experience with HIPAA compliance in a production environment.
• Prior experience working in the finance industry is essential, with an understanding of financial data and security requirements.
