  • The role also involves identifying automation opportunities, collaborating with the Engineering and Operations teams to resolve issues, documenting processes, and managing cloud costs effectively.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, engineering, or DevOps roles, particularly with highly scalable distributed systems.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical platforms in AWS is required.
  • Applicants should have experience designing, building, and managing AWS infrastructure, including automation using coding languages.
  • Familiarity with AWS databases like RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora, including performance tuning and backup setup, is necessary.
  • A general understanding of cloud networking (VPCs) is expected.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure As Code technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Troposphere is required.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like ECS Fargate and Docker is essential.
  • A solid understanding of DNS management (Route 53) and content delivery networks (CloudFront) is needed.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and APM tools (e.g., DataDog, CloudWatch) is required.
  • Strong experience with Git-based workflows and building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Harness, Jenkins) is necessary.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
