The DevOps Engineer will report to the Director of Engineering and collaborate with engineering, data science, and IT teams.

Responsibilities include architecting, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, with an emphasis on automation, security, and scalability.
The engineer will develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement best practices for security and compliance, monitor system performance, and document DevOps processes.
Additional tasks involve supporting database management, server administration, and infrastructure orchestration using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related scientific discipline is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or software development.
Expertise in AWS services, including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, and cloud security best practices is essential.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python, as well as version control systems like GitLab and GitHub, is necessary.
Experience with Linux and Windows server administration, database management, and Databricks is also required.
Desirable skills include exposure to healthcare or clinical research environments, experience mentoring junior team members, and a commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
Must-haves for the role include expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and security, experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code, and strong scripting and automation skills.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $148,000 - $175,000 USD, which may vary based on market conditions, location, and experience.
