Trunk is seeking a DevRel Engineer to educate, inspire, and engage with the developer community regarding their transition into the AI space.
The role involves building a content strategy across various channels and formats, including blog posts, social media, video, and partner sites, to develop Trunk’s voice for customers, partners, and the broader community.
Responsibilities include creating technical content, measuring developer needs, writing sample code, building prototypes, improving the website and documentation, identifying bugs in core products, and occasionally presenting to other developers.
The position requires creating long-form content to assist developers in learning about and succeeding with Trunk products, producing thought leadership content, writing code samples and case studies, and managing developer documentation as the product suite expands.
The DevRel Engineer will also build and nurture strategic partnerships with other companies, open-source projects, industry experts, and conference organizers, and assist with the Trunk Community Slack as needed.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3-5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer working within a team.
Strong writing skills are essential, with the ability to entertain and educate a diverse audience with varying levels of experience.
The ability to create high-quality screencasts and instructional videos is required.
Collaboration with design and marketing teams to create compelling visuals, including infographics and charts, is necessary.
Understanding how to measure and improve each stage of the developer journey is important.
Experience in establishing and maintaining strong strategic relationships with developer communities and organizations is required.
