The role of DevSecOps Engineer involves designing and implementing infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and deployment automations for critical services.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines, defining and managing IaC for AWS resources, and integrating automated security testing into pipelines.
The engineer will monitor pipeline health, write reusable scripts, and advocate for a DevSecOps culture within the team.
The position requires collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure visibility of DevSecOps work in user stories.
The role is anticipated and pending contract award response.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years as a software engineer with a focus on DevSecOps automation.
A Bachelor’s degree requires at least 4 years of experience; other degrees may adjust the experience requirement.
Hands-on experience with AWS services and networking is necessary.
Proven use of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes/EKS, Docker) is required.
A deep understanding of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD and automated testing, is essential.
A solid track record of working on Agile teams and in open-source environments is expected.
Familiarity with AI tools/services and a willingness to apply them responsibly is desired.
Candidates must have lived and worked in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years and be able to travel occasionally if required.
