• Tietoevry Create is inviting a talented professional to join their growing team as a DWDM Network Implementation Engineer.
• The role requires expertise in both project management and technical execution.
• Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing DWDM networks to ensure top-tier performance and reliability.
• The ideal candidate will manage complex network projects from inception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• The position involves leading DWDM network implementation projects, developing comprehensive project plans, and defining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
• The engineer will monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project completion within established scope, budget, and timeline.
• Coordination with engineering, planning, and colocation teams for site-related requirements is essential.
• The role includes designing and configuring DWDM network solutions, deploying and testing DWDM systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting network issues, and performing network performance optimization.
• Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and generating project status reports for stakeholders is required.
• The engineer will act as the primary point of contact during network implementation and coordinate with vendors for procurement and service delivery.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field is required.
• A proven track record in DWDM network design, implementation, and project delivery is essential.
• Hands-on experience with DWDM technologies and equipment from vendors like Ciena and Infinera is necessary.
• A strong understanding of optical transmission principles and technologies is required.
• Familiarity with network protocols and performance management tools is expected.
• Solid project management experience with large-scale network deployments is needed.
• A Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
