Travel within the region is expected, approximately 20-40%, for customer engagements.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in roles such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Database Administrator, or Software Engineer, focusing on distributed systems, databases, or cloud computing.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience is required.
Extensive experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or customer-facing technical roles is essential.
A strong understanding of clustering technologies, terminology, and architectures is necessary.
Proficiency in Linux system administration is required.
An understanding of network configuration and troubleshooting is needed.
Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar technologies is essential.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Golang, or Shell scripting, is required for automating deployment and management tasks.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills are necessary to convey technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for customer success are essential.
