We are currently seeking an R&D Energy Engineer with expertise in Transmission/Distribution networks and Energy Wholesale Markets.
The candidate should have experience in European-funded R&D projects and be fluent in English.
This position is based in Athens, Greece, and involves serving as an expert in the field.

Contributions to the design and creation of innovative products and services across various energy domains are expected.
Requirements:
A university degree in Engineering/ICT / Power Systems Engineering, preferably with a postgraduate qualification at MSc or PhD level is required.
At least 4 years of experience working directly with technical teams with proven track records is necessary.
A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in National and European research programs is required.
Experience in software design and development is essential.
The candidate must have experience in Transmission/Distribution networks and Energy Wholesale Markets.
Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and oral, is mandatory.
Good interpersonal, organization, and communication skills are required, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving are necessary.
Experience in designing Horizon Europe proposals and coordinating or implementing relevant projects will be considered an asset.
