The Engagement Architect will represent complex technology solutions that align with clients’ strategic business goals.
This role involves working with cross-functional technical teams, collaborating with key vendor partners, and serving as a trusted advisor for both internal and external stakeholders.
The position requires at least 50% travel and weekend commitments.
Key responsibilities include leading the discovery and design of end-to-end IT solutions, translating business requirements into technical architectures, and understanding design criteria around business-critical applications.
The Engagement Architect will serve as the primary technical authority, providing guidance to solution engineers and project teams, and establishing technical best practices.
The role also involves acting as a trusted advisor to customers, collaborating with sales teams, and providing thought leadership on digital transformation.
Requirements:
A deep understanding of design and architecture around edge networking, compute, storage, and workstations is required.
Experience with medical/veterinary applications such as PACS and PIMs is preferred.
CCNP and/or other relevant industry certifications are preferred.
Candidates should have deep experience with traditional route/switch technologies, wireless technologies, and software-defined networking platforms.
SD-WAN design and implementation experience is necessary.
Experience with automation scripting/platforms such as PowerShell and Python is required.
Design and implementation experience with virtual solutions such as VMware and Hyper-V is essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Candidates should have 10+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or technical consulting roles.
Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset are essential.
