Frontify is seeking an Engineering Team Lead for their Backend Platform to help brands turn ideas into impact.

The position requires active involvement in implementation, including coding, reviewing, and delivering backend solutions.
Requirements:
Candidates can work remotely from anywhere in Switzerland or on-site in St. Gallen.
Experience with PHP or comfort in a PHP-based environment is required.
A strong technical leader with deep backend engineering experience and the ability to operate at both architectural and implementation levels is essential.
A hands-on engineer with a proven track record in backend development is necessary.
Strategic thinking skills to shape and evolve team direction while maintaining high execution standards are important.
A passion for mentoring and supporting people’s growth with a focus on long-term success is required.
Clear communication skills and the ability to balance business goals with engineering excellence are essential.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
