Remote Engineering Tech Lead (AI Infrastructure)

Description:

• Lead the build-out of vCluster Labs' HGX-based GPU lab, including racking, cabling, and commissioning NVIDIA HGX systems.
• Develop infrastructure architecture and reference architectures for AI Cloud operators and enterprise AI factories.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to influence design decisions based on hands-on experience.
• Share knowledge through documentation and training sessions to build internal expertise in GPU infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Proven experience provisioning NVIDIA HGX systems in a data center environment.
• Hands-on expertise in data center operations, including cabling, server connections, and infrastructure procurement.
• In-depth understanding of networking requirements for dense GPU infrastructure (InfiniBand, high-speed Ethernet).
• Background in AI Cloud, HPC facilities, or enterprise AI factories with hardware-level infrastructure ownership.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge.
