There is a full-time, permanent opening for an Enterprise Security Architect to ensure best-in-class security architecture across Mobile, MedTech/Healthcare IoT, and TIC 3.0 network domains for a large Federal Government customer.
The Enterprise Security Architect will support the Department of Veterans Affairs by providing technical and programmatic support services, including development, maintenance, enterprise architecture, and administrative engineering support.
Duties include architecting secure mobile solutions, designing MedTech/Healthcare IoT security patterns, advancing TIC 3.0 use-case design, providing thought leadership, developing security artifacts, conducting risk assessments, supporting incident response teams, engaging with cross-functional teams, producing documentation, and staying current with emerging threats.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is preferred.
Candidates must have 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or network security architecture, with at least 5 years focused on mobile security, medical/IoT device security, or TIC 3.0/Zero Trust network designs.
Demonstrated success in eliminating single points of failure through cross-domain architecture and knowledge-sharing practices is required.
A deep understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks and directives such as NIST CSF/RMF, TIC 3.0, Zero Trust, FedRAMP, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 is essential.
Proficiency with mobile/UEM platforms, IoT security gateways, SD-WAN/SASE, and cloud security controls (AWS & Azure) is necessary.
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-engagement skills are required.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, PMP, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
