Remote Enterprise Security Engineer

Description:

• The position is for an Enterprise Security Engineer at First Advantage, a leading provider of background screening solutions.
• This role focuses on new security technology planning and implementation within the First Advantage environment for Enterprise Security.
• The individual will be responsible for engineering multiple aspects of Enterprise Security, including security monitoring, external SaaS, and infrastructure security.
• Responsibilities include evaluating and recommending new security technologies to improve enterprise security.
• The engineer will plan and implement security tools across the environment.
• Collaboration with IT and business teams is essential to ensure secure designs.
• The role requires maintaining security engineering documentation and standards.
• Staying current on emerging technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities in the information security space is crucial.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
• The candidate must have 3+ years of experience in information security engineering or similar roles.
• Experience with common security technologies such as EDR, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and NGFW is necessary.
• The ability to work independently on security projects and initiatives is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.
