The Enterprise Solution Engineer at Zip serves as the primary pre-sales technical point of contact for the Zip solution suite.

The engineer acts as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, ensuring they have confidence in Zip's ability to address their pain points.
Responsibilities include conducting discovery, demonstrating solutions, handling questions, and overcoming objections to showcase the value of Zip.
The engineer is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, including follow-up questions, demos, RFx, and IT security questionnaires.
They will build and develop custom demos that align with customer requirements and lead, scope, and partner with Post-Sales to deliver Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Collaboration with the Sales team is essential to meet sales objectives, and they will work with Post-Sales Solutions Consultants to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding.
The role also involves providing feedback to improve processes and products.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a solution selling environment or a similar role with transferable skills.
Experience selling to Fortune 500 clients and engaging with cross-functional decision-makers, including C-level executives, is required.
Strong solution selling skills are necessary, with the ability to articulate the value of software solutions and address customers' core pain points.
Familiarity with the procurement and billing/AP space is essential.
Excellent discovery skills are required to lead focused conversations that uncover customer pain points and value.
Knowledge of software integration principles, including integration platforms and APIs, is necessary.
A strong solutioning mindset is required, focusing on helping customers envision how Zip's solution meets their needs.
Candidates should be skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and be self-starters who can quickly grasp new technology.
