Node is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Data Architect to begin an exciting and challenging career with our large Enterprise Application Support Program on one of our project delivery teams.
The responsibilities include designing and implementing effective database structures and models to store, retrieve, and analyze data.
The role involves developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and integrate data from various sources.
Implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data consistency and quality is a key responsibility.
The position requires integrating data from different sources, ensuring consistency, reliability, and accuracy.
Developing data APIs and automation scripts to streamline data integration and workflows is also part of the job.
Monitoring and optimizing database and data processing system performance is essential.
Conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting data issues is expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a relevant discipline is required, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in a relevant role, such as Data Architect or Data Engineer.
Proven experience in designing and implementing data architectures is necessary.
Hands-on experience in developing and managing data pipelines and ETL processes is required.
Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) is essential.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and ETL tools is required.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala are necessary.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens or Permanent Resident Aliens (Green card holders) and not H1 Visa holders.
The ability to obtain an IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) Security Clearance from the Federal Agency is required, and active IRS MBI Clearance is highly desirable.
