The role involves designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines to support data-driven decision-making processes.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, reliability, and accessibility.
Responsibilities include working on data deliverables for Business and Studio, designing data models, building APIs and data products, monitoring data pipelines, and coordinating with business partners and developers.
The expected traveling time for this position varies from 0% to 15% based on project and organizational needs.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Quality Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in SQL and SQL-like query languages is required.
Deep knowledge of Python and experience in organizing Python-based projects is necessary.
Candidates should have extensive experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
A strong background in ETL and ELT processes is essential.
Experience with Azure Cloud and its services is required.
A solid understanding of various data modeling methodologies, including Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault, is necessary.
