  • The role involves developing moderately complex value-based analytics solutions for quality, business process functionality, or other strategic/data/analytic initiatives of moderate complexity.
  • The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and establish analytics requirements.
  • Responsibilities include creating detailed documentation and business plans that address stakeholder needs and liaising between IT and Product Management for data solutions.
  • The position requires developing and implementing moderately complex enterprise-wide data integration strategies that utilize various data marts and data warehouse applications to enhance reporting.
  • Continuous improvement of data platforms, dashboards, and reports to meet emerging and changing business demands and guidelines is expected.
  • The analyst will consult with limited guidance on UAT, technical specifications, strategic planning, contract design, technical support, testing updates, and trainings.
  • An intermediate understanding of data elements, structures, standards typically involved in financial services transactions, reporting, and cloud-based data storage/sharing is necessary to adopt and apply standards that satisfy regulatory and compliance requirements with business needs.
  • The role includes managing data from multiple sources and using project management skills to complete moderately complex projects with minimal coaching and guidance.
  • The analyst will transmit data and proactively work to ensure data quality, troubleshoot data issues, and devise creative and effective ways to avoid or mitigate issues.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position.
  • A background in insurance or financial services is necessary.
  • Experience creating data visualizations using Power BI is essential.
  • The candidate must be skilled in ad hoc analysis, data modeling, and applying machine learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with R, Python, and/or SQL is required.
