The Lead Enterprise MLOps Architect is responsible for designing and orchestrating the entire framework for building, deploying, and managing machine learning models at scale across the organization.
This role blends software engineering, data science, and DevOps principles to create efficient and reliable ML systems.
Key responsibilities include building AI/ML strategy and roadmap, utilizing DevOps tools such as Argo CD and Argo Workflows, and working with MLOps tools like AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex Studio, and Databricks.
The architect will also handle containerization using Kubernetes and ROSA, orchestrate ML and data pipelines with Kubeflow and Apache Airflow, and integrate enterprise applications like Guidewire and Salesforce.
Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, RedShift, and BigQuery, as well as ML feature store tools like Tecton and Databricks, is required.
Familiarity with GenAI tools and models, API orchestration tools, and strong knowledge of data mesh architecture and data product design is essential.
The role demands expertise in event-driven architecture principles, scalable AWS ML/AI cloud infrastructure, and developing data architecture guidelines.
Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with a deep understanding of the insurance domain or similar industries.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7-9 years of experience as a Lead Enterprise Architect or in a similar role.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields is required, while a Master’s degree is desirable.
Full English fluency is mandatory.
In-depth logical and practical knowledge in Data Architecture in MLOps for at least 5 years is required.
Candidates should possess architecture experience, particularly in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning Enterprise Architecture.
Strong functional knowledge of business processes and a solid understanding of insurance domains such as underwriting, claims processing, and services operations are essential.
The ability to communicate effectively, tell a story using methods like STAR, and influence stakeholders is crucial.
