The Lead Python Developer will oversee Quality Control and Assurance for the code base of custom in-house software solutions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and in-house standards.
The position requires advanced critical thinking and expert-level Python coding skills, particularly in pandas and pytest, to identify and fix defects within the software solutions.
Responsibilities include code development for new features, significant interaction with the infrastructure team, and overseeing the implementation of new features within custom software solutions in an AWS ecosystem.
The role also involves optimizing business processes to improve custom software solutions and collaborating with data science teams to support applications used in R&D and machine learning model development.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4 to 6 years of experience in software production, including end-to-end processes, leading the expansion of existing live products, and implementing new features.
Full English fluency is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is necessary.
Experience in a tech company background, particularly with startups or major companies like Microsoft or Google, is a plus.
Leadership experience is highly desirable.
Strong programming skills in Python and advanced software development experience are required.
Intermediate experience with AWS (4-6 years) is necessary.
Entry-level knowledge in data science, including data models and machine learning processes, is expected.
Intermediate knowledge of Object-oriented Programming (OOP) is required.
