Remote FBS Solutions Engineer (Angular)

Description:

• The position is for a Solutions Engineer specializing in Angular at one of the largest insurers in the United States, which provides a wide range of insurance and financial services products.
• The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver technical solutions that support complex business initiatives.
• The engineer will act as a knowledgeable resource to provide systems-level views of technology and devise technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Responsibilities include enhancing solution design, optimizing development processes, and implementing CI/CD pipelines to deliver impactful solutions.
• The position requires independent work with limited guidance or direction.
• Main responsibilities include gathering and understanding requirements from business stakeholders, translating these requirements into technical solutions, designing solution architecture, and creating detailed architecture diagrams.
• The engineer will work closely with cross-functional and external teams to resolve dependencies and provide technical clarifications.
• The role includes guiding development teams by providing technical direction and ensuring alignment with architectural standards, as well as mentoring others and collaborating with various teams.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a solutions engineer with a focus on Architecture for Angular, Java, and NodeJS is required.
• Experience with mobile applications using Swift and Kotlin is desirable.
• A strong understanding of solution architecture and system design principles is essential.
• Experience with native mobile application development for iOS and Android is a plus.
• A strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration best practices is required.
• Expertise in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities is necessary.
• Experience with Agile methodology, specifically Scrum or Kanban, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to interact effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Proficiency in Solution Architecture (Advanced), Angular (Intermediate), and IntelliJ (Intermediate) is mandatory.
