The Field Solutions Engineer (FSE) is a trusted technical expert who plays a pivotal role in the sales process, driving the growth and adoption of Miovision’s Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) solutions.
The FSE will cover the Western US and involves regular travel within the region.
The role includes supporting complex proof of concepts and ongoing initiatives to maximize product output and value.
The FSE is responsible for learning and understanding the current technical capabilities within the account ecosystem and identifying gaps between the current state and the customer's desired state.
The FSE will support solution design, technical documentation, and implementation plans for desired integrations.
The FSE will design and manage product demonstrations and pilot installations.
The FSE will work to achieve product approvals in the assigned territory and update ITS specifications for customers.
The FSE will support the resolution of complex product issues and act as a customer advocate.
The FSE will build success within key accounts to create product advocates and champions for case studies and references.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level is required.
A minimum of 8 years of technical experience is necessary, with an understanding of network products.
The ability to travel internationally for on-site consulting work is required.
Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple projects are essential.
Experience with general consulting skills, including team facilitation, business case development, and strong business analysis skills, is needed.
Systems implementation skills, including requirements/process analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support, are required.
An analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues is necessary.
A basic understanding of product development and engineering processes is preferred.
Membership in industry groups (IMSA/ITSA/ITE/etc.) and relevant industry certifications are preferred.
