The company is seeking a Finance Data Engineer to design and manage the data layer that supports finance operations.
The role involves ensuring data from finance systems is securely stored in a data warehouse and is easily accessible via tools like Copilot and Omni dashboards.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, collaborating with finance and data teams, implementing data retrieval mechanisms, building interactive dashboards, monitoring data pipelines, and documenting processes.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or analytics engineer, with a proven track record in full stack data development.
Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization is essential.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or Fivetran, and integrating data from ERP systems like NetSuite is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or other scripting languages for data processing and automation is required.
Familiarity with LLM integrations for natural language querying and dashboarding tools like Omni, Tableau, or Looker is preferred.
A solid understanding of data security principles, including GDPR/CCPA compliance, role-based access, and encryption in cloud environments is important.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in agile teams are required.
