This role will support the optimization of cloud costs, monitor usage, and implement financial governance for StubHub’s technology infrastructure.
In this entry-level role, you will support the implementation and optimization of financial operations (FinOps) practices across cloud environments.
You will work closely with engineering, finance, and procurement teams to monitor cloud usage, analyze spend patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial accountability across cloud services.
The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for bridging the gap between finance and technology.
The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, based in Atlanta, GA.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
1-2 years of experience in cloud financial operations or a related role is necessary.
Proficiency with AWS services, including Athena, Glue, and QuickSight, is essential.
An understanding of AWS Cost and usage reports is required.
Hands-on experience with Grafana or other tools for creating dashboards and visualizations is needed.
Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets are mandatory.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cost management and monitoring tools is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
