This position is for a Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Agent) at Cresta, located in the United States.

Key accountabilities include developing and deploying AI agents, integrating them with external systems, optimizing performance, gathering technical requirements, conducting demos, coordinating project milestones, and serving as a technical advisor.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, or system integration.
Proficiency in Python and Golang is necessary, with a strong ability to write clean and efficient code.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering is preferred.
Knowledge of AI agent frameworks, function calling, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) is strongly preferred.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring is required.
Hands-on experience integrating systems via APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines is necessary.
Excellent communication, project management, and collaborative skills are essential.
An analytical mindset with experience using data-driven approaches like A/B testing and performance monitoring to refine AI solutions is required.
The ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments, partnering with PMs and engineers to translate customer challenges into scalable solutions is necessary.
