Description:

  • We are seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) with deep expertise in Palantir Foundry to architect and deploy high-impact solutions for enterprise clients.
  • This role blends software engineering, data integration, and strategic problem-solving.
  • You will work side-by-side with stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights, driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Unlike traditional development roles, you will own end-to-end delivery: from understanding client challenges to building scalable Foundry applications, optimizing cloud workflows, and ensuring adoption.
  • If you thrive in dynamic environments and love bridging technical depth with real-world impact, this is your opportunity to shape the future of data-driven decision-making.
  • Key responsibilities include partnering with clients to translate business needs into technical architectures using Palantir Foundry, building end-to-end applications, optimizing AWS workflows, iterating on solutions in agile environments, ensuring robust deployments, and mentoring stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java/Python, TypeScript/React, and Palantir Foundry (Ontology, Pipelines, AIP) is required.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (EMR, Athena, S3), Spark, and backend frameworks (Spring Boot) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or generative AI use cases is a bonus.
  • You must have the ability to dissect ambiguous challenges and architect scalable solutions under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills are essential to align technical teams and executives on vision, trade-offs, and results.
  • A growth mindset with curiosity to learn new tools (e.g., Palantir’s AIP) and adapt to evolving client needs is important.
  • Preferred qualifications include 5+ years in software/data engineering, with 2+ years deploying Palantir Foundry in production.
  • Experience in federal, healthcare, or enterprise sectors is preferred but not required.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Benefits:

  • This position offers the opportunity for direct collaboration with Palantir and enterprise clients.
  • You will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
  • The role allows for remote or hybrid work arrangements, providing flexibility in your work location.
  • You will be part of a team that drives measurable business outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
