The role involves partnering with the Sales team to lead technical discovery, run demos, and build proofs of concept that showcase the value of Photoroom's platform.
The Solutions Engineer will act as a trusted technical advisor to prospective and existing enterprise customers.
Responsibilities include designing and proposing tailored integration solutions based on each customer’s tech stack, goals, and product roadmap.
The engineer will own the technical implementation experience, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration process from onboarding to deployment.
High-quality documentation creation, including API references, integration guides, and tutorials, is required.
The role involves capturing customer feedback and collaborating with Product and Engineering to inform the roadmap.
Identifying and documenting common use cases, integration patterns, and troubleshooting steps to enable internal teams is also part of the job.
The position offers a salary range of $150-190k plus stock options/BSPCE.
The candidate must be within 1.5 hours of travel time from NYC for bi-monthly in-person gatherings and will need to travel to Paris quarterly, with expenses covered by Photoroom.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical role, ideally within a SaaS or API-first company.
Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs and proficiency in tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and basic scripting or integration logic is required.
Experience in creating technical documentation, integration guides, or implementation playbooks is essential, along with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Candidates should be confident in running live demos and technical deep dives with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business functions.
The ability to independently scope and propose integration solutions based on a client’s tech stack, requirements, and constraints is necessary.
A track record of collaborating closely with engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence the product roadmap is important.
Candidates must manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver on time with a high level of attention to detail.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; fluency in other languages is a plus.
