The Fraud Data Analyst will analyze and interpret fraud and risk data to identify trends and patterns in player behavior.
The role involves providing data and insights to identify high-risk accounts, detect unusual activity, investigate, and close suspicious accounts to mitigate risk and protect the business from revenue losses.
Responsibilities include identifying suspicious activity using fraud monitoring tools, reviewing member account registrations, purchases, and redemption transactions, and performing initial investigations to mitigate losses.
The analyst will contribute to the development of new policies, processes, and systems to monitor and prevent fraud.
Generating suspicious activity reports and risk management reports for managers is also part of the role.
The analyst will identify areas for process/system improvement and support the team in implementing changes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience working with Seon or other fraud prevention tools, particularly in defining and analyzing fraud detection rules.
Strong hands-on experience with Looker or other BI reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is required.
Direct experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
Any experience in the US market is beneficial.
Good communication, organizational, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and appreciation for multi-cultural diversity are essential.
Candidates should have experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
A data-driven and detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills is necessary.
The ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written, and presentation formats is required.
