Remote Freelance Back-end Developer

Description:

• We have an exciting new opening available for a Freelance Back-end Developer to start as soon as possible.
• The position requires starting by the 4th of August for two weeks, with the option to extend.
• The role is remote but candidates must be based in the UK.
• Essential skills for this role include having 5 years of experience as a Back-end Developer.
• Candidates must have knowledge of C#, Umbraco versions 9-13, and Azure.
• A strong knowledge of CMS product web development is required.
• The candidate should be able to create well-written, clear, and informative technical build documentation.
• It is important to represent RY with confidence and professionalism at all times.
• Desirable skills for this role include experience with Docker and agency experience.
• Specific tasks include reviewing existing web development and identifying required development, modifying existing templates and modules, and creating documentation.
• The candidate should be motivated, organized, and methodical.
• They should be proactive, resourceful, and able to think critically.
• The candidate must be confident and client-facing.
• The successful candidate will report to the Tech Director and work in close collaboration with digital project directors.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a Back-end Developer.
• Knowledge of C#, Umbraco versions 9-13, and Azure is essential.
• A strong understanding of CMS product web development is required.
• The ability to create well-written, clear, and informative technical build documentation is necessary.
• Candidates must demonstrate confidence and professionalism while representing RY.
• Experience with Docker and agency work is desirable but not mandatory.
