  • Responsibilities include designing and building interactive UIs, turning complex sports data into usable experiences, and collaborating with backend, design, and data teams.
  • The role involves scoping, estimating, and managing tasks using Jira, contributing to UI architecture, and writing clean, testable code.
  • The engineer will manage project tasks, dependencies, and code releases across various environments, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Continuous development of technical expertise and sharing knowledge with the team is encouraged.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with TypeScript and React is required.
  • A solid understanding of backend integration with APIs and websockets is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Cypress or other automated testing frameworks is expected.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with attention to layout and detail, is essential.
  • The candidate should be confident in browser and device testing, including debugging workflows.
  • Experience with JSON data structures and consuming APIs (GET/POST) is required.
  • A good command of responsive web design and web performance optimization is necessary.
  • Effective npm dependency management skills are required.
  • The candidate must be comfortable using Git for version control and clean code practices.
  • Experience using Jira for task and ticket management is essential.
