We are seeking a skilled and motivated Front-End Developer based in Peru to support a high-impact digital project for a leading retail client in the U.S.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Web Components and familiarity with React, along with a foundational understanding of data layers and web analytics implementation.
This is a contract opportunity with flexible working hours and part-time project management support.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining front-end components using Web Components standards (e.g., Lit, Stencil, Vanilla JS), supporting integration and updates within an existing React-based architecture, collaborating with the team to implement and test data layer changes for analytics and tracking purposes, maintaining code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation, and participating in code reviews and providing technical input as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in front-end web development using modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Hands-on experience or solid understanding of Web Components.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of React.js.
Familiarity with the concept of data layers for web analytics (e.g., Google Tag Manager, event tracking), or willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous team environment.
Advanced English skills (B2 or higher).
Additional information includes the requirement to work on Central time and the ability to work with a personal laptop.
