Join Bright Network as a mid-level Frontend Engineer in the Tech & Product Team, which consists of 15 members.
The role focuses on delivering beautiful, fast, and accessible experiences for student members.
You will be responsible for writing React components and crafting elegant, modern, and consistent interfaces.
The frontend stack includes React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, with opportunities to experiment with modern UI patterns.
You will work across both UK and German platforms, contributing to new product work and defining the look and feel of the products.
In your first six months, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers, take ownership of frontend quality, contribute new components and UX improvements, help define frontend best practices, and stay updated with emerging frontend techniques.
Requirements:
You must have strong hands-on experience using React, TypeScript, and CSS to build polished user interfaces.
A sharp eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful and usable interfaces are essential.
You should be confident in working closely with designers and bridging the gap between high-level designs and the final product.
Experience with production-grade applications and understanding how to build scalable frontend systems is required.
Familiarity with modern tooling such as Vite, Webpack, and PostCSS is necessary, with a focus on outcomes rather than configuration.
Benefits:
Bright Network has been awarded the Great Place To Work certification, highlighting a positive workplace culture and focus on employee satisfaction.
You will join a high-growth and rapidly scaling business, with international expansion into the German market.
There are incredible progression and development opportunities, with approximately 20% of the team receiving promotions each year.
Enjoy 28 days of annual leave plus two weeks off during the Christmas Office Closure, excluding Bank Holidays.
The position offers a market-leading benefits package, including flexible and hybrid working, a £50 monthly wellbeing budget, enhanced pension contributions, private healthcare, enhanced parental leave, and regular team socials.
You will play a key role in driving forward the mission of upskilling the next generation of talent and connecting them with opportunities.
