Veeva Systems is seeking a mid-to-senior level Front End Engineer (React) to join their team.
The role involves architecting and developing new and innovative web applications.
The engineer will work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to new product development.
Responsibilities include building scalable web applications using open-source tools and technologies, utilizing REST and GraphQL APIs, and working independently while communicating progress to the team.
The engineer will lead technical planning, create user stories and technical acceptance criteria, and code.
The position requires identifying and correcting complex bugs and problems, planning technical architectures to minimize performance issues, and implementing front-end designs based on mock-ups and visual designs.
The engineer will also develop a front end using the latest responsive design techniques.
Candidates must be based in Spain and eligible for employment in the European Union, as Veeva does not sponsor employment visa/permit processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 3+ years of professional experience in building scalable and reliable web applications.
Experience with React or another comparable JavaScript framework is required.
A deep understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, is necessary.
Candidates should possess unit testing and debugging skills.
The ideal candidate should be independent, self-managed, and motivated.
A good command of the English language is required.
It is a plus to have experience with Python, Django, AWS (or another cloud provider), any RDBS, Elasticsearch, or Redis.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred.
