Vanta is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to join the Design Systems team.
The team builds tools and drives ways of working that empower internal teams to efficiently create scalable, high-craft, and cohesive experiences for upmarket customers.
The role will have a company-wide impact, helping other engineers and designers meet B2B SaaS customer expectations for UI consistency, performant data flow, and accessible experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions that streamline developer workflows.
Responsibilities include improving and scaling internal design system components and documentation, building and maintaining UI and frontend infrastructure, and advocating for product quality.
The role involves collaborating with product engineering teams on cross-cutting issues and contributing to Vanta’s engineering culture.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience building and maintaining software services and infrastructure platforms.
A deep understanding of React, TypeScript, and GraphQL is required.
Candidates should have experience writing and testing performant web client code.
Experience with writing codemods and migration automations is necessary.
Candidates must have a background in crafting intuitive and high-quality user experiences.
A clear product sense for developer tooling and building extensible APIs is essential.
Experience working on or leading technical initiatives involving web performance, frontend infrastructure, or developer productivity is required.
