Requirements:

  • The candidate must have 7+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with heavy back end experience in designing and developing web applications.
  • Experience focusing on DATA, including Data Infrastructure, Data Platform, or Data Engineering, is required.
  • Proven experience working with ETL/ELT Data Flows and data processing is necessary.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Node.js is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript frameworks like React/Typescript, is required.
  • Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, and relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL is needed.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Argo CD, Kafka) is important.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is required.
  • The candidate must possess superb verbal and electronic communication skills.
  • Experience with DevOps, preferably in AWS, is a plus.
  • Understanding of security principles and architecture is necessary.
  • Prior experience in the Risk, Underwriting, Data, and/or Payments Industry is preferred.
