VeilSun is seeking a Mendix Web Application Developer to join their mission-driven team based in Denver, CO.
The role involves coding, implementing, and maintaining web-based applications, including project management tools and custom application workflows that integrate with data providers via RESTful APIs.
The developer will participate in scoping technical requirements, writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code, performing unit testing, and integrating work into a code repository for deployment.
Responsibilities also include maintaining existing applications, participating in code reviews, gathering requirements, and developing server-side applications using Node.js.
The position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in the office if located in Denver.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or comparable experience is required.
Candidates must have experience working with large datasets and managing databases.
Proficiency in building web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js is required.
Candidates should have experience integrating customized styling CSS outside of pre-built frameworks like Bootstrap.
Experience in consuming data via RESTful APIs and managing JSON data transfer mechanisms is essential.
Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming, is required.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with Mendix is necessary.
