Whitespace is seeking an innovative Full Stack Engineer to join their dynamic team, focusing on AI-powered analysis and simulation.
The position is fully remote for candidates outside a fifty-mile radius of the corporate office in Alexandria, VA.
The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and reside in the contiguous United States.
The role involves developing end-to-end solutions for clients and internal use, integrating AI models into web applications, APIs, and cloud services.
Responsibilities include both front-end and back-end development, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security best practices on GCP and Azure.
The engineer will work in an agile setup, collaborating with data scientists and cloud engineers to prototype, test, and deploy AI solutions.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, AI, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of technical engineering experience; work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Expertise in GCP and Azure cloud services, including Cloud Run, Kubernetes, BigQuery, Firestore, IAM, Pub/Sub, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
Experience with MLOps and AI integration tools such as Vertex AI, TensorFlow Serving, MLFlow, or Azure ML Model Deployment.
Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD practices, including Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Ability to design and deploy applications that operate across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
