Description:

  • Seeking a Full Stack Engineer based in LATAM to join the R&D team.
  • This is a full-time contractor role focused on evolving and stabilizing a cloud-based CMS platform used by global enterprise clients.
  • The role involves working across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to new feature design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams will occur in a fully remote environment.
  • Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying full-stack features using a Java backend and modern JavaScript frontend.
  • The engineer will implement and integrate RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Participation in Agile ceremonies and product ideation sessions is expected.
  • Support for QA efforts through manual testing and feature validation is required.
  • The engineer will contribute to production support and continuous improvement.
  • Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is essential.
  • The use of AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to enhance development efficiency is encouraged.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Java, including core and backend frameworks, is required.
  • Strong frontend skills in JavaScript, with experience in Angular or React, are necessary.
  • Experience with REST APIs, Docker, and working in Agile teams is essential.
  • A solid understanding of unit testing is required, and experience with integration testing is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
