Remote Full-Stack Engineer (Python/Django & JavaScript)

Description:

• IT Labs is seeking a Python Engineer who is passionate about quality and innovation.
• The role involves working on a large, single-tier (monolithic) application using Django as the primary framework.
• Responsibilities include building and optimizing backend features to ensure application stability, efficiency, and scalability.
• The engineer will work with SQL and MySQL databases to manage and retrieve data, ensuring optimized queries for peak performance.
• The position requires structuring different components of the application, handling user requests, and maintaining smooth interaction between various parts of the system.
• The engineer will develop backend systems using Python, Django, and MySQL, focusing on API development.
• Experience with JavaScript is also required.
• The role includes deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• The engineer will maintain a monolithic application architecture.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Python, demonstrating a strong grasp of the language.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Django.
• At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript.
• Proficiency in SQL and MySQL for database management.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and pay attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with team members and clients.
• Adaptability to different client environments, workflows, and coding standards.
• Experience with monolithic applications is required.
• The position is a long-term 1-year contract and is full-time.
• Candidates can choose their contract type: Contractor or B2B.
