ReadMe assists over 5,000 leading startups and tech companies in creating beautiful, personalized, and interactive developer hubs.
The role involves working on projects that simplify documentation creation and maintenance, as well as improving API metrics tracking.
Recent projects include designing a real-time notification system, building support for branching in documentation, and creating interactive code tutorials.
Requirements:
Strong expertise in modern web technologies, particularly TypeScript, front end and back end frameworks, and cloud-based architectures.
Ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while balancing quick execution with performance and code quality.
Enjoyment in mentoring and fostering growth in teammates, recognizing the importance of supporting people in engineering work.
Capability to work cross-functionally with designers and product teams, engaging in both big-picture brainstorming and detailed discussions.
Ownership of projects from inception to deployment, including defining architecture, making technology decisions, estimating work, and ensuring smooth releases.
Strong opinions about product development, with a focus on user needs and ensuring a seamless user experience.
