Remote Full Stack Java Developer

Description:

• Node is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented mid-level Full Stack Java Developer for a remote position.
• The role involves designing and implementing Micro Service Architecture JEE software applications.
• Responsibilities include full stack development of highly scalable web and batch applications.
• The developer will participate in Agile development methodologies and ceremonies.
• Front-end applications will be developed utilizing REACT JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, etc.
• Back-end applications will be developed using Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Core Java, JDBC, SQL, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.
• Modern software engineering tools such as Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), and Atlassian Suites will be used for design, development, and testing.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a relevant discipline is required, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using Java for backend and JavaScript, HTML, CSS for frontend development.
• Experience in implementing server-side logic, database integration, and ensuring seamless data flow between backend and frontend is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Knowledge of secure and efficient data management and integration with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc., is required.
• Experience in implementing client-side validation, event handling, and dynamic content update functionalities is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Debugging and resolving application issues and performance bottlenecks is expected.
• Familiarity with system development methodologies including Agile is required.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills are necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Candidates must be U.S. citizens or Permanent Resident Aliens (Green card holders) and must be able to obtain an IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) Security Clearance.
