CompassX is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for a 12-month contract role.
The position offers a pay range of $65 - $80 an hour.
The engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using React, Go, and TypeScript.
Responsibilities include architecting and deploying services on AWS and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes.
The role involves technical leadership, hands-on coding, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The engineer will eventually manage team members and work closely with the business to help teams achieve their goals.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable frontend applications, designing and implementing backend services and APIs, optimizing full-stack performance, translating product requirements into technical solutions, leading design discussions, collaborating with various stakeholders, deploying and monitoring applications on AWS, mentoring junior developers, and participating in agile ceremonies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in building and maintaining scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
Proficiency in designing and implementing backend services and APIs in Go is required.
A strong understanding of full-stack performance optimization and code quality best practices is necessary.
Candidates should be able to translate product requirements into clean, well-documented technical solutions.
Experience in leading design discussions and contributing to architectural decisions is essential.
Strong collaboration skills with designers, product managers, and engineers are required to deliver end-to-end features.
Familiarity with deploying and monitoring cloud-native applications on AWS using Kubernetes is necessary.
Candidates should have experience mentoring and supporting junior developers in technical design and implementation.
Participation in agile ceremonies, design reviews, and roadmap planning is expected.
