Remote Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• We are seeking a Full Stack JavaScript Developer with strong MERN stack experience and a passion for building maintainable, object-oriented applications.
• This position is mostly remote, with occasional in-person collaboration in Tampa, FL.
• You will play a key role in setting development standards and mentoring others while contributing to high-impact projects that drive business growth.
• Responsibilities include building and maintaining applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), designing clean user interfaces with HTML/CSS, and developing backend services with Node.js and Express.
• You will collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• The role requires using Git-based platforms (GitHub, Bitbucket) for source control, researching and resolving application issues, and improving business processes.
• You will also document and test software thoroughly and mentor junior developers by sharing best practices.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3–5 years of full stack development experience.
• A strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and Docker is required.
• Experience with MongoDB, SQL Server, or MySQL is necessary.
• A solid understanding of object-oriented design principles is essential.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is expected.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills are required.
• Clear and concise communication skills are necessary for this role.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively is important.
• Experience with financial transaction processing is a plus.
