Remote Full Stack Software Engineer (React/Python)

Description:

• Spekit is a remote position for a Full Stack Software Engineer (React/Python) based in Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Latin America, Chile, or Peru.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python, including Django, Django-Rest, and Dramatiq, as well as PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ is required.
• Experience with React is essential.
• A test-first mindset with experience writing unit tests for both Django and React applications is necessary.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including SOLID principles and design patterns, are required.
• Experience in building and scaling web applications for broad audiences is needed.
• Candidates should demonstrate tenacity in finding simple solutions and the ability to communicate a vision effectively.
• A willingness to work through unexpected roadblocks and leave improvements for others is essential.
• A desire to create a product that end users love is crucial.
