Remote Full Stack Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

• We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our client's dynamic team, contributing to the development and management of innovative products.

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails is essential, as it is the primary language we utilize.
• The role involves working on both front and back end technologies when developing new features.
• You will take ownership of new features and lead all life cycle stages for that feature including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.
• You will contribute ideas to improve the product.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a full stack engineer is required.
• Highly experienced with Ruby, Rails, and JavaScript is essential.
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and version control software is necessary.
• Familiarity with TailwindCSS, Sidekiq, Minitest, PostgreSQL / relational databases, and Python are considered pluses.
• Familiarity with SMTP and mail security standards (DKIM, DMARC, SPF, etc.) are also considered pluses.
• Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills are required.
• The ability to build, test, and deploy software changes in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $3000-$5000 USD plus a 13th salary.
• Working hours are flexible, but availability during regular business hours for meetings is required.
• Payment will be made on a monthly basis.
• The type of contract is Independent Contractor.
