The position is for a Full-Time Lead Application Developer, working remotely from the Philippines.
The compensation for this role is up to Php ₱178,125.00.
The job requires overseeing a team of developers and driving the successful execution of application development projects.
Responsibilities include providing leadership and direction to the development team, defining and enforcing development methodologies, and conducting code reviews.
The Lead Application Developer will collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and delivery.
The role involves utilizing monitoring tools to ensure application health and performance.
The shift structure is night shift from 9 AM to 6 PM EST.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or lead developer role, preferably in agile environments.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also considered.
Expertise in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript, along with frameworks like .NET, Spring Boot, or Node.js.
Strong knowledge of API development, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is required.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is necessary.
Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and database management (SQL and NoSQL) is essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor developers, manage code quality, and drive successful project outcomes is necessary.
A proactive work ethic and the ability to deliver clean, maintainable code with a focus on scalability and security are essential.
