Description:

  • Theoria Medical is seeking a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to lead test automation initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • This role will focus on building scalable test automation frameworks, collaborating with development teams, and mentoring QA team members to elevate the overall testing practice.
  • Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing test automation frameworks, evaluating and recommending tools and methodologies, collaborating with QA and development teams, enhancing test automation coverage, reviewing acceptance criteria, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior QA engineers, and advocating for continuous improvement in QA processes.
  • The position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while ensuring deliverables are met on time.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in QA automation or SDET roles.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python and JavaScript are necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Postman is required.
  • Experience working with MongoDB and relational databases is essential.
  • Exposure to AI-driven testing solutions and familiarity with emerging AI testing practices is preferred.
  • A background in the healthcare or insurance domain is preferred.
  • Candidates should have HIPAA certification or a strong understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements.
  • A deep understanding of QA methodologies, test strategies, and SDLC processes is necessary.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and system integrations is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and leading QA team members is required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities are necessary.
