Staycation is seeking a Fullstack Developer to join their remote team, with candidates required to be based in metropolitan France and present in Paris three days a month.
The role involves integrating into the Users squad under the guidance of a Lead Developer, focusing on developing features for user applications to enhance conversion rates and user experience.
The developer will work closely with the Product Manager and Product Designer to co-design innovative solutions.
Responsibilities include designing and developing solutions for complex problems across four platforms: the website, mobile application, back office, and extranet, all developed in React.
Key responsibilities include participating in the design, development, and deployment of new features, collaborating with product and marketing teams, reviewing code quality, planning and architecting features, and proposing improvements to the codebase and technical stack.
Within the first three months, the developer is expected to contribute to the development and deployment of key features and integrate into the agile team culture.
Within the first twelve months, the developer should take initiative on impactful projects and contribute to the evolution of architecture and development practices.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of experience in backend development (Node) and frontend development (React or React Native).
Experience with Scala is preferred or a willingness to learn this technology.
Knowledge of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, is required.
Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team within an agile environment.
A good analytical capacity to address problems and a realistic approach to challenges are essential.
Candidates should be quality-focused and able to make compromises when necessary.
Familiarity with Redux, React Hooks, SASS, Next.js, and Storybook is a plus.
Previous experience in implementing a design system and cloud skills (Heroku, AWS, GCP, etc.) are also advantageous.
