The fullstack engineer will work with the Department of Veterans Affairs to enhance digital tools for Veterans, including the Claim Status Tool and related services on VA.gov and the VA Health and Benefits mobile app.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with expertise in Ruby on Rails, Javascript/Typescript with React, and testing frameworks like React Testing Library and RSpec.
Experience with AI tools and services to enhance software delivery is required.
Candidates should thrive in Agile environments and demonstrate self-organization in managing their work.
A proactive approach to experimentation and pragmatic decision-making skills are essential.
Applicants must have lived and worked in the U.S. for 3 out of the last 5 years.
Some travel may be required, and candidates should be open to discussing this during the interview.
