The Fullstack Software Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the core platform used by compensation admins to build and operate sales compensation models.
Responsibilities include designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining CaptivateIQ's data and core platform functionality.
The engineer will work across the full product stack to develop and improve product features.
Participation in the product development process from scoping projects to measuring success and iterating based on feedback is expected.
Maintaining high engineering and security standards while continuously improving codebases and processes is essential.
Collaboration with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale is required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, are required.
Experience with both frontend and backend development is necessary.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency with Django and React is required.
Experience with a relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL is necessary.
A demonstrated track record of taking responsibility and ownership over core product areas is required.
Candidates must have a sharp attention to detail and a user-centric focus.
Experience making data-driven decisions on product and process is necessary.
Experience building a positive remote-first culture is preferred.
